MEMORIES

I'am writing this from San Jose, California where I have lived since 1982.

However, I was a Calderbank girl and attended St. Aloysius primary from 1954 to 1960.  While there my best friend was Anna Brennan, who emigrated to Canada in 1960.  Recently, through the wonders of internet, I have been back in touch with Anna.  We now correspond frequently through email.  Neither of us has been back in Lanarkshire for many years.

chapelhall thistle football team

The club was founded in the summer of 2007.
They are based in the village of Chapelhall which is located 3 miles south of Airdrie in North Lanarkshire, Scotland.
The club is a member of the Lanarkshire YMCA League and associated with the SYFA.
The players are Born 1996 or after.
The clubs First (of many) honours was attending the Easter Blackpool tournament and winning the Trophy March 2008.
Following a successful first year the club is looking to run with 2 teams next year.
Under 14's Boys Born 1995-1996
Under 12's Boys Born 1997.
